1 Lancaster Homebrew: A Hidden Gem

As a non-beer drinker, I was skeptical about visiting a brewery, but after hearing rave reviews about their food, my friend and I decided to give it a try. Located on the side of the highway, 1 Lancaster Homebrew is a beautiful property with multiple indoor and outdoor dining areas that offer a sense of seclusion.

The presentation could have been better, but for $7, you get one taco - a great value! We started with the gazpacho soup, which was delicious on a hot summer day and came in nice large white bowls. The menu seems well-curated and always changing, with options to order food at the counter and pick it up.

The beer tasting room inside is MASSIVE and a must-visit for any beer lovers in the area. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful, and the food came quickly - everything we ordered was good. We shared the chocolate lava cake for dessert, which was warm, gooey, and the perfect ending to our meal.

My husband's steak was cooked exactly as he likes it, although it lacked a bit of flavor. The addition of French fries gave it a nice boost of flavor. His meatloaf was also pretty good. We opted for the 12-option beer flight for $20, which allowed us to try a variety of flavors and styles from their list of around 20 beers.

Overall, our experience at 1 Lancaster Homebrew was great. Despite being a brewery, they have a lot to offer food-wise, and the atmosphere is very cool inside and out.
